Terms of Service — kotopost

1. What kotopost is

kotopost is a software service that helps businesses track how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and others) describe their products, and generates content to improve that visibility. By using kotopost you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You sign in via magic-link to the email you provide. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use kotopost to generate spam, copyright infringement, malicious content, impersonation, hate speech, or anything illegal. You may not abuse the service in ways that harm other users or third-party platforms (e.g. mass-publishing low-quality content). We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Content you generate

You own the content you generate with kotopost. We grant you the right to publish it on your own domains, on your own social accounts, and in your own marketing. You are responsible for ensuring the content is accurate and does not infringe on third parties.

5. Third-party platforms

If you connect kotopost to third-party platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Stripe), you authorize us to act on your behalf only as needed to deliver the kotopost service. You remain bound by each platform's own terms. You can disconnect any platform at any time from Settings.

6. Payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time.

7. Service availability

We work to keep kotopost running but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect paying customers.

8. AI-generated output

kotopost uses third-party AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. We make no warranty about the accuracy, citation improvement, or ranking impact of any output.

9. Liability

kotopost is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using kotopost at any time. We may terminate or restrict accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose legal or security risk. On termination, your access ends and we may delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
